Eligibility and score limit
Eligibility:
- Must be above 18 year of age
- Must carry valid passport
- All the relevant information must be original
The concept of pass marks is very relative since it totally depends on the college one is applying. IN Most of the cases generally score below 5 is considered to be bit below average and above 6 is considered good. In all cases band score of 6.5 is considered to be very good and more chances of creating good impact on the authorities and even individual module score can also create impact as per the requirements.
For Example:
For an Engineering background student where the teaching is mainly in lecture-oriented system so any student scoring 6.5 or above is listening is considered as good and say in case of somebody as teachers or teaching or job there 6.5 in speaking is considered as very nice score and taken into consideration that way and not in a rigid manner.
The over-all score will be converted in band ranging from 9 to 1. The score are the conglomeration of the Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking skills of the individual. The scale ranges from 9 to 1 depends upon the performance.
The nine bands are as follows:
9 Expert
8 Very good
7 Good
6 Competent
5 Modest
4 Limited
3 Extremely limited
2 Intermittent
1 Non-user
0 Did not attempt the test
