Well the cost of the programs totally depends on duration and the excellence of the program. The cost of the tuition fee and also the cost of living both are quite affordable in New Zealand. Most of the New Zealand universities support the international students for a cost effective stay. The scholarships are available to international students from various universities in New Zealand. The scholarships are granted to various levels and in various areas. Though getting scholarships requires you clear entrance examinations since the process is quite competitive. But if you are a competent student then you can be exempted from the entrance tests.
Students are awarded commonwealth scholarship and Fellowship awards for advanced courses. For these you need to get enrolled in any of the universities in New Zealand. But these scholarships are available for graduate of Commonwealth countries. These scholarships are administered by the New Zealand Vice-Chancellor’s committee (NVCC).

1) Doctoral and Masters Scholarships for PhD - $12,000.
2) Master’s -$5,000 based on merits.
3) Scholarships are for PhD and masters in subjects like forestry, accounts, computers, journalism, business management, engineering, science, etc.
