Register GRE
On the day of event participant is allowed to select few colleges where the score after the exam will be automatically submitted. For more colleges to be added to that exhaustive list charges are to be paid.
The following are the modes of registering for the GRE test:
Phone
Call prometric center before 12.00noon for GRE registration at least three days prior to the test date.
FAX
Send the fax at least seven days before the first test choice date.
Mail or Courier
The Registration form should be manually filled with the draft to be submitted to Prometric Center at New Delhi through registered post / courier. All the credentials must be sent at least three weeks before the test date.
Points to remember:
- Take the test as soon as possible so your scores will be received before the deadline of application consideration.
- Check the GRE® online registration system for the most up-to-date test center information.
- For preferred test date and location do take care to register early so that no time slot problem occurs.
- Your test fee allows you to request that scores be sent to up to four graduate institutions or fellowship sponsors.
- Fee for late registration is US$25.
- You will be given the option to register for the free GRE® Search Service on the day of your computer-based GRE General Test or when you register for the paper-based GRE General Test. You can also sign up separately at any time. The GRE Search Service matches prospective graduate students with participating graduate schools and fellowship sponsors.
- You now have access to a new service, the ETS® Personal Potential Index (ETS® PPI). Introduced in July 2009, ETS PPI is a first of its kind web-based evaluation system that enables you to provide information from multiple evaluators to institutions about six personal attributes that are critical for success in graduate and professional school: knowledge and creativity, communication skills, teamwork, resilience, planning and organization, and ethics and integrity.
